We had a fine but cloudy morning & slight breeze. Volunteers arrived, gear was taken out & boats rigged & put in the water. A briefing was given by the SDC. Unfortunately we were short of volunteers, but all went well.

Stephen Bush was skipper of Charlie’s Chariot with Ken Boyes as his off sider & photographer. Corey Nichols was great on the radio & timekeeping. Malcolm Barr, Jennie Fogarty, David Webb did a great job on the pontoon & Ros Chow was handing out & fitting life jackets to participants.

Ability Options arrived with 6 participants at 9.00am. First boat out was Eli D with John Pens as skipper, participant was Harrison. Followed by Steve LeBreton (Ashley) in Vin. Michael took Harry in Black Swan. Denis Linley took James in Woody & Peter Ward took Benney in Ralph Newman.

John Pens was back again with Shane in Eli D. Steve LeBreton had Steve in Vin. Peter Ward had Reece in Ralph Newman. Denis took Ben in Woody. Steve was back for his 3rd sail in Vin with Ari. David Webb took Lee in Black Swan. Michael Burnett also took participants sailing.

We had a busy day with approx. 20 participants (some of them Members of Manly Sailability) & many thanks go to those volunteers that turned up this morning . WELL DONE.

Boats were de rigged & all gear away by 12 20pm.
