We started with participants from Royal Far West with helper, Craig: Micah, Richard, Sarah, Lizzie, Ashleigh and Jarod had a wonderful time: a few had a go on Charlie’s Chariot before venturing into a sail-boat, and all finished less fearful, and smiling on the water.

Our four young sailors from Fisher Rd with helper, Alex, were also able to have a choice, with Sekayi and Daniel opting for a quick run out, then everyone into the sailing boats to give Joshua, George and Riley an opportunity to wet hands and arms down close to the water on the sailing boats.

Ben arrived next and had the best sail ever in the freshening breeze. This morning he was full of confidence and took off solo across the bay and back again for quite some time before making it back all the way past the ferries and moored boats totally solo, and glided back to the pontoon in full control, and with the hugest smile ever.

Paul, Stefan, Kris, Nina and Michael popped in for a sail,

And finally, our friends from Waitara Wonders, Elizabeth, Samantha, Kathrine, and Sascha, with helpers Brendon and Paige, took their turn on the water. We have managed comfortable seating for Elizabeth after a few weeks of trying different options, and next time will have something more suitable for Samantha.

Jon turned up with Helper Doug and proceeded to the pontoon for a ride on Charlie’s Chariot, then a good long sail, then Philip arrived with Dad for a solo go on Alan Wood.

It didn’t take long for our helpers to cooperate in boat washing and putting away ready for next time.
