It was great to see 2 Volunteers nominated for NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards in the North Sydney Area.
Alan Jones from Crystal Bay nominated his volunteer group ‘Dad’s Army’ from way back in 1996 until now, with 70 names on his list, as well as lots of photos. He is very obviously proud of them. He was presented with a certificate for this service to his community.
Ralph Newman from Manly was nominated in the Senior Volunteer section and was presented with a certificate for his work for 20 years of service to Sailability.
