It was an absolutely stunning day – sunny and warm, perfect for sailing.
Warwick and John ran us through a brief on safety before participants arrived. We also welcomed a new volunteer (Julie Lintvelt – mother of volunteer, Sophie).
Five boats were rigged for the sailing session. Participant sailors came from Northside – Luz All Abilities , Royal Far West & individuals attended with their carers.
Eli managed registrations, while Corey took his usual role as radio officer. Mai was pontoon officer, supported by Malcolm and our new volunteer.
Warwick skippered Charlie’s Chariot, with Ken as offsider and photographer. Warwick and Ken were joined by some participants and carers for a trip around Manly Cove.
