The morning began quite cool with a very light wind but then the sun came out and the breeze strengthened as the morning progressed. Quite a busy start to the morning getting 5 boats out and in the water as the dragon boat teams were having a corporate day .
There were 13 volunteers, just enough for the jobs .Nola took on Wimas role and also the life jackets, Corey on radios as usual,Ken, John and David on Charlies in turn, Skie and Jim on the pontoon and the others skippering the boats.
Firstly,a group of 9 from DY Public School,then 2 singles, Simone and then Alec from Royal Rehab. We then had to share the pontoon with the dragon boats returning but all the boats and gear was put away in good time.
