While the training day was in progress, Helen went over to Manly Council Chambers for the annual cheque presentation to worthy community efforts. We asked for and were granted $1,000.00 to help us with the maintenance and fuel bills for Charlie’s Chariot, fast becoming an icon on the waters of Manly Cove. Manly Council has been helping us with the expenses for our support boat for the last 7 years, and, as usual, we are very grateful for this grant.
